Ingredients
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 6 Potato (Red)
- 2 ¾ tablespoons Butter
- ⅓ cup Milk (Whole)
- ⅔ cup Sour Cream
- ⅜ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ⅔ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ⅔ teaspoon Salt
Directions
- Cut the red potatoes into quarters. Place in a large pot and cover with water (water should come 1 inch above potatoes). Bring to a boil over HIGH heat, once boiling reduce heat to medium-high. Boil for 10-12 minutes until potatoes are easily pierced to the center by a fork. Drain the water and transfer potatoes to a large bowl.
- In the large bowl combine hot (drained) red potatoes, butter, whole milk, sour cream, garlic, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Use a potato masher or a hand mixer to mix the potatoes just until all ingredients are combined – the potatoes should still have a few lumps; do not over-mix.
- Taste, add salt and black pepper if needed. Serve and enjoy.
