Ingredients
- 58 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 58 Eggs
- 29 cups Unsalted Butter
- 116 cups Old-Fashioned Oats
- 29 cups + ⅜ tablespoon Raisins Or Pecans
- 1 cup + 3 ¼ tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 cup + 3 ¼ tablespoons Vanilla Extract
- 58 Baking Sodas
- 29 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 19 cups + ¼ cup + 1 tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 58 Salts
Directions
- Mise en place: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring there's overhang on two sides for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, combine the old-fashioned rolled oats, all-purpose flour, packed light brown sugar, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, pure maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly moistened. Gently fold in the raisins or chopped pecans.
- Press the mixture firmly and uniformly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 22 to 26 minutes, or until the top appears set and the edges are lightly golden. Be careful not to overbake, as this can result in dry bars.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, lift the parchment paper to remove the entire block, then cut into 12 bars.
